Private Health Insurance Information

At Life Is Movement, we are very happy to work with clients who have private health insurance and wish to use their policy toward physiotherapy, rehabilitation, or clinical exercise services.

How It Works

All appointments—including insurance-funded appointments—are booked and paid for directly through our standard online booking system, in exactly the same way as any other client booking.

At this time, Life Is Movement does not invoice, bill, or claim directly from insurance providers, and we do not operate a direct billing arrangement with insurers.

Instead, following your appointment, we are happy to provide any documentation your insurer may require in support of your reimbursement claim, including:

  • Itemised receipts

  • Invoices

  • Clinical notes (where appropriate and with your consent)

  • Treatment summaries

  • Provider details

  • Claim forms or supporting documentation specific to your insurer

Reimbursement

You are responsible for submitting your claim directly to your insurance provider.

Your insurer will then reimburse you in accordance with the terms, limits, and excesses of your individual policy. As policies vary significantly between providers and plans, we recommend confirming your level of cover directly with your insurer before booking.

Before Your Appointment

If you plan to claim through insurance, it may be helpful to check:

  • That physiotherapy or rehabilitation services are included in your policy

  • Whether you require a GP, consultant, or specialist referral

  • Whether pre-authorisation is required

  • What documentation your provider will need for reimbursement

If you have any questions before booking, please feel free to get in touch. Otherwise, you can book your appointment as normal through our online booking system, and we’ll be happy to support your reimbursement process thereafter.
